Grizzly is now also available with the slow sponge of our ABS rubber. This combination offers remarkable playing characteristics: Grizzly's top layer still produces very good spin reversal on high-spin topspin balls. The ball also bounces very low on the other side of the table. The special ABS sponge with damping effect significantly reduces the speed of the rubber and provides remarkable control.
This new version of Grizzly still allows for aggressive attacking strokes through pushing and lifting.
The rubber is available in red and black with the following sponge thicknesses: 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8 mm. The version with 1.8 mm sponge is again the slowest and therefore the most effective for short blocking close to the table. The versions with 1.2 and 1.5 mm also produce a decisive disruptive effect when blocking but offer even better attack options through aggressive pushing and lifting.
