In 1976, XIOM, originally known as Champion Limited Corporation, began manufacturing table tennis tables for the Korean market. In 2007, the XIOM brand was launched and has since built an excellent reputation with several lines of rubber blades, including Omega, Vega and Sigma. What sets these rubber blades apart is XIOM's signature "Carbo Black Sponge", which provides more spin and speed.

In recent years, XIOM has focused on developing products suitable for plastic balls, leading to the introduction of Dynamic Friction technology, inspired by snow tires. Furthermore, XIOM's table tennis frames are manufactured in Japan, Korea and China, with an emphasis on high quality.

XIOM has materialized its legendary movement with the Feel blade series, which was launched in 2017 after the success of the Novus series. Currently, XIOM officially sponsors the Beijing Team, featuring players such as Ma Long (the 2017 World Men's Singles Champion) and Ding Ning (the 2017 World Women's Singles Champion). XIOM and Champion have also provided sponsorship to the 1988 Olympic Games and the 1986, 2002 and 2014 Asian Games, as well as Korean national teams. "XIOM" refers to the concept of axiom, which stands for "new paradigm" in the world of table tennis
