Product description
The Presto rubbers are a further development of the Friendship Battle. Even the slower Presto Spin offers surprisingly more speed and an equally strong built-in adhesive effect. This high speed is mainly achieved by the very open sponge, which is additionally tuned - not visible, but clearly perceptible through the smell.
The top rubber has fairly long inward-facing studs and is very elastic. However, grip is somewhat reduced in favor of speed. The playing behavior is comparable to many German tensor rubbers, comparable to the grip of the SpinLord Irbis or the SpinLord Tanuki. This means that this rubber also competes directly with the Palio AK47. In comparison, the slower Presto Spin is slightly faster, but with slightly less effect and comparable control values.
The Presto Spin is available with a 42 degree hard sponge, which is the softest version. This also makes the ball stop quite soft, slightly harder than the SpinLord Tanuki or Irbis, but softer than the Friendship 729 Battle.
Presto Spin and Speed do not differ because of the sponge, but because of the top rubber, which is thicker with the Presto Spin than with the Presto Speed (= slightly longer ball contact and therefore more spin and control at slightly lower speed).
