The SpinLord Gigant is a revolutionary anti-top sponge specially developed for plastic balls.
Featuring a sponge similar to that of the Lion Mantlet, the Gigant offers a unique combination of an extremely slow damping sponge with a top rubber that is firm, yet elastic. This rubber is easy to grip and comparable to the Soft Anti from Giant Dragon.
In passive play, the Giant is almost as slow as the Cloak, but much more dangerous. It almost completely absorbs the opponent's spin, but can also generate its own spin. This allows safe block balls to be played with a disruptive effect that has not previously been seen with anti-sponges.
The Giant also allows poisonous undercut balls, making it difficult for the opponent to play topspin. Own attacking blows are also a good option to confuse the opponent.
Although the Gigant is not suitable for hard finishing shots, it can be used effectively with modified hitting techniques, especially for players who have previously played with grippy, long pimples.
The Gigant is very lightweight and can be installed with coating glue without VOCs or with self-adhesive films. We recommend using our SpinLord Fast Fix or Ultra Fix adhesive for installation so that the rubber layer can be easily removed from the wood if necessary.
