The SpinLord Gipfelsturm is a revolutionary pimple rubber with longer pimples than most long pimple rubbers, but it plays almost like a normal short pimple rubber, with the advantage of being just as dangerous as half-long pimple rubbers. The unique shape of the studs makes this possible. They are very long (1.65 mm) and wide (1.98 mm at the apex), with a cone shape and ribbed tops.
Although the rubber and sponge are medium hard, Gipfelsturm has a soft touch. The rubber is elastic and the studs can even wobble, especially when playing block balls close to the table. Gipfelsturm is very suitable for playing with spin, flipping, topspins, block balls and counter attacks.
