The combination of a sticky top surface and an extremely hard sponge has long been a key weapon for China to dominate the modern table tennis world. However, since the ban on hazardous chemical devices by the ITTF in 2008, boosters have been introduced as a solution. These are not only illegal according to the ITTF, but also very impractical to use. Fortunately, new technology, such as the world-famous Tensor Bios technology, offers a legal and effective way to soften hard rubbers without the use of illegal external substances. This rubber is only available in maximum thickness.
